Yoko Fukushima

He was exposed to the arts from an early age, belonged to the drama club in junior high school, loved the stage, and moved to Tokyo to become an actor. While studying theater, she discovered flamenco and began dancing in 1998. He traveled to the West repeatedly and studied with a number of Spanish artists.

Fascinated by the unique rhythm of flamenco as well as the beauty and sound of the Spanish language, while a student at Ritsumeikan University, he participated in the National Student Spanish Speech Contest on the theme of flamenco, winning second place and a special award. He obtained a B2 in the DELE Spanish Proficiency Test.

Since 2004, he has continued to study flamenco while studying abroad in Argentina as a Japanese teacher as a JICA volunteer and later at the National Autonomous University of Mexico as a scholarship student. Won first prize at the 20th Latin American Dance Competition. After returning to Japan in 2008, he began teaching at Almadeflamenco Kyoto. After becoming independent in 2011, she hosted the Yoko Fukushima Flamenco Studio Recital Live every year.

She is currently a mother of two children. While raising children, she performs as a flamenco singer at various live performances and events.

In November 2010, he moved to Tokyo and started his activities.
In 2012, he was in charge of writing and singing lyrics for a Santen Pharmaceutical commercial.
In 2014, she appeared in the film "Plata y Oro" with Antonio Canales and Carmen Ledesma.

He started playing flamenco guitar at an early age under his father, Takeaki Tokunaga. After graduating from junior high school in 2009, she moved to Spain and enrolled at the Cristina Helen Flamenco Academy in Seville. He completed the entire course in three years and then enrolled as a lecturer at the school for three years.
In 2012, he won second prize at the Peña Young Flamenco Competition in Seville, Spain.
In 2019, he won 4th prize at the International Guitar Competition in Barcelona.
In 2020, he won the amateur category at the SoleraFlamenca video competition in Barcelona.
As the Tokunaga brothers, they have released four albums.
In 2020, the Tokunaga brothers' first nationwide distribution record was released from an indie label.

Akito Kimura

He started playing electric guitar in high school, encountered flamenco guitar at university, and later studied with Yukio Tsuchihashi in Osaka. From 2003 to 2010, he traveled to the West almost every year. He studied accompaniment from the virtuoso accompaniment players Ramón Amador, Parrilla de Jerez and Domingo Lubić in Seville, Spain. He is currently studying accompaniment with Enrique Heredia, a gypsy and flamenco master living in Osaka. Since 2008, he has moved his base from Kyoto to Mie Prefecture, and has been a well-known artist in the Tokai area, including Spaniards.

He discovered folk percussion instruments and began his career in music. Studied under Takeshi Nakamura. He has participated in orchestras of rock, pop, salsa, African, and Brazilian music, released a major album by his band (Shango Come Down Above Me) in 2005, performed and taught at various schools, and recorded for record companies.
