Fascinated by the unique rhythm of flamenco as well as the beauty and sound of the Spanish language, while a student at Ritsumeikan University, he participated in the National Student Spanish Speech Contest on the theme of flamenco, winning second place and a special award. He obtained a B2 in the DELE Spanish Proficiency Test. Since 2004, he has continued to study flamenco while studying abroad in Argentina as a Japanese teacher as a JICA volunteer and later at the National Autonomous University of Mexico as a scholarship student. Won first prize at the 20th Latin American Dance Competition. After returning to Japan in 2008, he began teaching at Almadeflamenco Kyoto. After becoming independent in 2011, she hosted the Yoko Fukushima Flamenco Studio Recital Live every year. She is currently a mother of two children. While raising children, she performs as a flamenco singer at various live performances and events.
Francisco Chavez "El Plateao"

In 2009, he came to Japan for the first time to perform at Tokyo El Flamenco. After that, he participated in the FRINGE FESTIVAL for one month in Seville as the exclusive cantaor of the company of Miguel Vargas and Esperanza Fernández. IN 2010, HE APPEARED IN THE BIENAL FLAMENCO AT THE LOPE DE VEGA THEATER IN A PRODUCTION OF THE SAME COMPANY. In November of the same year, he moved his base to Tokyo and started his activities. In 2012, he was in charge of writing and singing lyrics for a Santen Pharmaceutical commercial. In 2014, he appeared in the film "Plata y Oro" with Antonio Canales and others. In the same year, at BIENAL FLAMENCO, he performed with Antonio Canales and others in the production "y,,,Sevilla" at the Teatro LOPE DE VEGA. In 2015, he performed with Manuela Carrasco and others at Hibiya Noon. In the same year, she was invited to Taiwan as a singer for LA LUPI. He started playing flamenco guitar under his father, Takeaki Tokunaga. After graduating from junior high school, she went to Spain and entered the Cristina Helen Flamenco Academy of Arts in Seville. After completing the entire course, he was enrolled as a lecturer at the school for several years. Both brothers won the Japan Flamenco Association New Artist Performance Encouragement Award in the guitar category for two consecutive years. His brother was the runner-up at the Andalusian Flamenco Competition in Seville, Spain. In 2019, his brother reached the final of an international competition in Barcelona, Spain, and finished fourth. After that, he traveled back and forth between Japan and Spain, and was active in various live performances and stages.
