Born in Seville. He started playing flamenco guitar at the age of eight. From an early age, he visited various peñas and learned how to play according to the cante. He started his professional career in 1985 and has been active mainly in Spain and Portugal. Since 1994 he has been working as a guitar instructor at the Taller Flamenco School in Seville. In 2020, he began performing and teaching based in Osaka.
